It has been forever since I last posted though that is bound to happen with having my baby take up most of my time. After the holidays I got a bad case of the artist block, it just passed this past weekend when I got the chance to make not one but TWO purses....
Soon to by listed on my Etsy store!
Here is a close up of the magazine tote I created. I love to go to the library and I am always trying to find a cute tote to carry my books in well I recently found one at an estate sale and thought I am sure there are many other people out there that want a cute retro magazine/library tote, and ta-da Doris was born. *smile* She is a hip tote if I do say so myself.
I also created a purse I am dubbing as Audrey I love love LOVE this fabric, this purse really took a mind of it's own while I was sewing it together, I was originally looking to do something different with it but absolutely LOVE how it turned out!
Well that is it for now! Off to sew some more while my artist block is gone!
Most of my stuff will be at a month long craft show (thanks Katy!) so I thought it might be wise to take it off of the Etsy site however, I can pull items and bring them back if requested so.... here is a photo list of the items currently NOT listed on Etsy but can still be purchased...
Welcome to Artsy Momma, a one woman owned and operated business.
Just a quick intro to get the ball rolling,

I love everything vintage, they dont make fabric like they used to and I love to have unique items that I KNOW no one else will have. That is what prompted me to start up my own store. Almost all of the fabrics I use are vintage or are vintage reproductions (which are only a few) most of the time all of my buttons and zippers that are used are also vintage. My sewing room is filled with unique fabrics and notions that I love to make into cute purses/clutches.
I have recently started a childerns clothing line since I love to give my baby girl one of a kind outfits. I am now expanding to custom orders since right now all of the clothes I offer are my daughters sizes since she has been my test subject *smile*
I am looking to starte a women's clothing line for us ladies who have a little curve and love to look in the past for our fashion do's and don'ts.
Keep checking back here as well as my etsy shop.
